An updated layout of an early GMF design ‘RISE’ with the same
poetry. The original graphic was a ‘homeboy’ caricature in the ‘thinker’
pose atop an apartment building. In revamping the design the sphinx
coming alive was to imply rebirth, to rise again.
Can’t sit around singing the blues, when those before us paid
heavier dues. The game is still being played with higher stakes.
Sleeping minds lose before they awake. Don’t get caught nappin’ or your
fate will be the same. Time to flip the script and create our own game.
